Deputy Governor of the Virgin Islands, Mr. David D. Archer, Jr. has announced the release of all his Year in Office reports since taking office in March 2018. The Deputy Governor made the announcement in a video address released today, 19th February.

As Deputy Governor, Mr. Archer is required to produce annual “Year in Office” reports which detail his activities as Deputy Governor, separate from the work of the broader Office of the Deputy Governor, its Units and Programmes.

During the address, Mr. Archer highlighted that the release of these reports will strengthen the culture of transparency and accountability in the Public Service and welcomed members of the public to view and scrutinise the contents of the reports. The Deputy Governor also urged members of the public to submit any questions that arise after reviewing the reports.

Mr. Archer said, “Serving as Deputy Governor is a great responsibility, and it is important that this responsibility is delivered with a tangible commitment to transparency and accountability. I am proud to release all completed reports since the start of my tenure. These reports provide detailed insight into my work, allowing the public to see and understand every detail and every moment in the execution of my duties.”
