The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has approved the template of the Economic Stimulus Plan that will be presented to the public soon.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie said, “I know that everyone is anxious to hear about the other immediate relief and economic stimulation proposal by the Government.”
The Premier said that the additional economic relief to be announced includes farming and fishing initiatives, the water delivery to residents initiative, food supply initiative to those in need, and the new house-to-house garbage collection initiative.
The Economic Stimulus Plan will serve as the interim framework to guide Government’s social, economic and fiscal response to the immediate and short-term needs of the Territory.
