Students from the British Virgin Islands who have settled status upon arrival in the UK can access tuition fee loans for full-time and part-time university courses in England.

UK nationals and their families in the BVI will also qualify for home fee status, provided they meet the 3-year residency requirement in the UK, Islands, or specified overseas territories.

Acceptance into a university programme for entry in 2025 is required. Students must hold a British Overseas Territories Citizen (BOTC) passport with a student visa or a British Citizen (BC) passport.

New funding options for master’s, doctoral, and advanced education courses starting in 2025. These changes aim to enhance access to quality education at UK institutions and support economic development in the British Virgin Islands.
