The Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport is located on Beef Island, connected to the eastern end of Tortola by bridge. The airport code is EIS. Ferry docks with customs and immigration offices are located on many of the islands. Among the possible routes to the BVI are:

  • From the UK

    Flights to Antigua connect with other airlines to the BVI.

    Alternatively, there are flights to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. A local ferry travels between St. Thomas and Tortola, but check for times.

    There are other routes which a travel agent can advise.

  • From the US and Canada

    Fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico and connect to an inter-island flight to Beef Island, Tortola.

    Alternatively, fly to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and continue by inter-island flight to Beef Island, Tortola or from St. Thomas continue by ferry to Tortola. Check for ferry times.
